Our team’s weekly virtual yoga sessions with Deanna are one of the highlights of my week. Not only does it allow us to focus on the health of our minds and bodies for an hour, we leave the session energized and ready to work harder. Deanna tailors each session to our needs, asking us at the outset if there are areas we want her to focus on. As remote employees often sitting in front of the computer or on planes, we frequently ask her to focus on the stressy areas of our shoulders or on our hips. She seamlessly works this into the flow for the session. She is able to watch our poses on screen and make adjustments, which makes it feel like we’re all in the same room. One of my favorite parts of the session is the short reading she does each time — somehow, her words of self love and positivity are just what my mind needs each time!
